I am so tired of social media, specifically instagram..

I cannot stand using it! I find myself feeling competitive with other artists rather than being excited by what they're doing. On top of this, I feel like no matter how hard I'm working, I can never prioritize working on projects because I'd rather be "entertained" or "informed" by my phone..... how lame is that!?!?

I want everyone in the entire world to delete instagram, maybe I can at the least make a dent in STL by talking to friends and maybe even other show-goers.

Being off of social media would be so beneficial, I believe. I think that consciously moving away from so much performative crap would help make shows more about the MUSIC, and make musicians less akin to do their random gimmicks. I don't mean to be a hater, but I am very tired of seeing people break shit just to look cool and get the crowd riled up. I used to do that, and it feels very superficial. I feel like that's a lot of what I hear about at shows, but I think that would be good to write about another day..
