4-6-26 @juliocesar JULIO!!! your blog about rejoining the generations of stl's music is so meaningful to me!!! I have been talking with many different people about how amazing our community could be if we all shared the important knowledge surrounding shows, tours, merch, etc. 

It makes me so happy to hear that you feel similarly. I know that from my perspective, the general highschool-to-college-aged "scene" is pretty sturdily founded upon house parties and musicians with a lot of appearance/popularity rather than substance. It's been so disheartening to see people my age go to my shows in the past only to look at their phones or talk through the sets. Very depersonalized, I feel.. HOWEVER!!! at the bolo show, I felt like EVERYONE was tuned into my set. so many people that I didnt know were intently listening and dancing along to the music that they may have never heard before. I think that it is such a good example for people my age to see, and I think that the people who are disillusioned from the party "scene" could really benefit from a chance to step into this more diverse, substance-oriented side of St. Louis' music. So, I've been working very hard to spread the word of my shows and any shows I attend!!!! I'm so excited to see other people are excited =D

4-1-26 @moldgold222 i saw ur message, i appreciate all of the support always. touring does seem hard in other cities, but i feel like i keep hearing that there's a lot of good DIY spots in all of these different cities around the U.S. yet I feel like STL is actually lacking in good spots, aside from party houses, so it feels like it depends on what you're looking for??? idk, i feel so lost sometimes since im so new to the idea of touring LOL
